Treehouse

Treehouse Design based from a Chinese Swamp Cypress tree~ Traditional acrylic painting dug out from the archives.
Had fun with this project back in the day! Referenced trees from the park and from online, used blue pencil for the rough initial layout sketch then tidied it up using old school tracing paper and pencil method. Then used carbon paper to transfer onto the final board before pulling out the paint brushes. I used 'swampy' colours to suit the Chinese Swamp Cypress Tree, but kept it more vibrant to convey a lighter and fun atmosphere. Decided to post this one while reflecting in the new year 2023. Crazy to think it is now 10 years old, time sure flies!
